ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The NC State women’s golf team concluded its season on Wednesday with a seventh-place finish at the NCAA Albuquerque Regional.
Hosted by the University of New Mexico at the UNM Championship Course, the Wolfpack posted the second-lowest round of the day with a 295 (+7) to finish with an 890 +(26) – just two shots out of the top six cutline to advance to the NCAA Championship.
Stanford (+2, 866), Duke (+9, 873) and Pepperdine (+15, 879) rounded out the top three of the team standings.
Senior Sarah Bae carded a two-over 74 to wrap up her collegiate career, finishing in a tie for 18th with a 221 (+5). Laura Kowohl shot 80 on the final day of play to finish one stroke behind Bae at T24th.
India Clyburn turned in a three-over 75 to move up nine spots on the leaderboard, finishing at T38th with a 226 (+10), while Leonie Bettel posted the low round of the day with a 72 to finish T57th at 229 (+13).
Naomi Ko rounded out the Pack’s lineup, finishing T73rd with a 234 (+18) after shaving eight strokes off of Tuesday’s round.
